POSTED UNDER ARTIST : LOLA MONROE

Lola Monroe covers the latest issue of BE magazine. In the Sexy Summer edition, the Taylor Gang Queen talks about joining Wiz Khalifa’s label, Taylor Gang, why she decided to work with the “Black & Yellow” artist and the importance of being a self-reliant artist when it comes to the music game.

On working with Wiz : “After talking to Wiz about the plan, he told me what he had going on and saw everything I had going on in my movement and he wanted me to represent Taylor Gang. The energy was positive and everything worked out.”
On her music career : “It’s important to solidify yourself musically especially as a female. I’ve been on my own since the age of fifteen so it’s already a natural way of thinking for me not to wait on anyone and to just go forward, not relying on people.”
