Eve shared an “An Intimate Hour” with Philadelphia high school girls and revealed her journey to self-discovery on Monday, July 23 at the African American Museum in Philadelphia.

Eve answered questions about some of her darkest moments, described the motivation behind some of her most poignant lyrics, and gave her take on relationships and love, all to help girls become who they are. The goal is to turn the Becoming Who You Are! Series into a 12-month program that will monthly give girls access to remarkable women of color whose personal journey will help teens navigate through the treacherous waters of adolescence, and provide trustworthy and truthful imagery of brown women.
