The signature pony-tail model, Iggy Azalea, elaborated on the meaning behind the video, why child glamour pageants remind her of the rappers, reveals T.I. didn’t like the idea for the video and more!

The meaning of the video and T.I. not liking the concept at first : “… That was all my idea. TIP (T.I.) was like, “Iggy what the hell are you doing. I hate it!” - I was like, ‘You’re going to get it when it comes together. Trust me!’ — If you really do listen to the lyrics it’s not literal at all. It’s really about dressing and being the flyest-illest b*tch and killing sh*t. It seemed pretty obvious to me, but it wasn’t to the rest of the world, unfortunately.”

On how child pageants are like the rap game : “There costumes, diamonds, tiaras, and all the glamour of it all, it just reminds me of — the glitz — it reminds me of Bling. It’s the same f*cking sh*t. Toddlers & Tiaras actually has a lot more in common with rappers and flashy shit (than you think).”
